January 9, 2010 - The Left Takes Top 3

The Left has done what they set out to do many months ago and have finished in the top 3 in The Peak radio stations, Peak Performance Project. The band is guaranteed a cash prize of minimum $50,000 and have the possibility of taking home the grand prize of $150,000! They play the final show of the competition on January 22nd, 2010 at the Commodore Ballroom. Be sure to get your tickets soon, or check back on gabfilms.com for a video recap of the day!

S.i. Systems is holding a video competition currently and gabfilms has an entry in it. The contest requirements were to produce a video or story that showcases and experience at work with people "Not Clicking." The contest is based off of votes so be sure to go to sisystems.com and vote for the video On Target.

November 30, 2009 - Peak Performance Project Closes

Thank you everyone for your support over the contest period of The Peaks Peak Performance Project. The Left did amazing in gathering the most votes out of the top 20 bands and also winning the Best of BC music competition on Virgin Radio. "Drinking About You" is getting huge air time now and has helped get The Left the recognition they deserve. The Peak Performance Project contest top 3 will be announced this coming Monday, December 14, 2009 at 3:15pm PST.

October 20, 2009 - Sea to Sky 2009 West Coast Dance Championships

After a great weekend of filming West Coast Swing Dancing, gabfilms is now busy at work cutting it all together for this years Sea to Sky 2009 DVD set. This years event was covered in full HD and the image quality is amazing. Ben Van Kleek of Digital Showroom Productions is currently working on pre-production for his new short film "Himself."

Casting for the short film has been completed and production will begin in the 4th quarter of 2009.

After many months of waiting for a result the news came in that Jenelle Spicer and Greg Bartels had taken 1st prize in the LUSH Cosmetics video competition.
The contest details were to create a 2 minute video explaining how to use your favorite LUSH product.
